Try SpkExplorer, which is include with Plugin Manager, to "Extract All".
If it doesn't work or if you get an error, download the script again.
Here is a screenshot of SpkExplorer with my Debris_Utilize_Repair_v3.01.spk [ external image ] to compare with your if needed
Have a good flight

i found the reason why i had those problems.
I have Windows 7 and the directory of Programm Files (where x3tc is installed) is protected.
That's why i had install problems and also why it never worked changeing the text file from 44 to 39.
I have given to the Egosoft directory the full access to the user (also if i am the user and administrator.... :/ ) and installed again all with plugin manager.
That did not worked 100% as the readtext error were still there, but i was finally able to change correctly the tet file, and now i have the english text.
So, the problem was Windows 7.

I always put game on another disk than C:, so I cannot have this problem, but I know that if you install X3TC or another game in something like C:\Games\ you will no more have this problem.

I was wondering if Debris Utilisation.spk is required. I tried to download it and received a null error.
I am currently running BSG MOD 1.8 on X3TC v2.5. Not planning to upgrade as I do like the colonial tags and the dradis display.
Thanks,
Squid.
Oh yes, I am looking for aemd v2. My copy is corrupted and would appreciate help in finding it.

I'm looking for more broken gates that will generate traffic.
Yeah, getting the same results here, lots of OWP's and Mercury Tankers (pretty much every old titan wreck is a MT) although I have found a Mining base-ship which I'm seriously thinking about repairing.

Alright, so apparently the link will not work with Internet Explorer. Anyone encountering problems with the link will need to either use Firefox if they already have it, or go to www.firefox.com to download and install it.
At least, that worked for me. If it doesn't, then you might need to clear cache by going to tools, clear recent browsing history, select time range to clear (everything/all), and then select everything under details and hit 'clear now.' After that close out of firefox and try again.
That'll hopefully fix it. You probably need to contact the OP or the website gamefront.com if it doesn't work for you at that point (don't know their contact info). Good luck and God's bandwidth.

I do not believe this is a browser issue. FileFront is known to temporarily stop downloads on occassion. I have just tried the links on the first page, and got to the filefront download page ok.dark_matter_mobius wrote:Alright, so apparently the link will not work with Internet Explorer.
EDIT: The links do work, but you will need to use the "click here" option rather than waiting for FileFront/

I would really like to try this script but something is real screwy with your link to download this file. The link clearly lists Filefront as the destination. But every time you hit the link you are redireded to gamefront. After searching Gamefront thoroughly I can find no files at all pertaining to X3 TC. You might want to consider using another download site for this one is messed up. There are just to many people having problems with this link.

I've only tested this on pre-existing debris (last night) and it works great. You have to be around 9.5k range or less or you get some vocal blah blah denied error. Tested in Unknown sector near New income (I hear that was called Avarice in X3:R)
go to "x1tp.com" click search, type debris, its like 3rd in the list that comes up.
