Posted this in another thread about 1 1/2 months ago and just realized I should have just placed it here since it's just a supplement to Al's Guide

_____
Would like to note that someone already has posted their AiRE method and I guess this is extra documentation on that particular method

Cheers!
This would supplement the guides already out there most notably AL's Ship Capture guide.
[ Requirements ]
- 1 Ion Disrupter
- 1 Alpha/Beta IRE

Well you have them at 87% or below and you've fried them several times with Dual ION D's. You've been at it 5-10 minutes.. maybe 15. You are feeling the blood lust scream in your trigger finger. That's when you switch to the FINAL OPTION.
Switch off a ION D and Strap on a Weak IRE. The method requires that you hammer them with 3-6 rounds and then back off.
The OTHER method would be too let them get up a little bit of shielding then zap them once with a round of IRE+IOND. Then wait let their shields get back up and ZAP. Then wait and repeat.

Another Method would be to switch to Alpha/Beta Pac's and do the same sniping as the ones listed above. Basically this all involves the CHIP method. Where you chip away at their hull to force them to become afraid.

Finally when you can't take it at all switch to B/G PAC + 1 IOND
Unleach salvos of 4-5 then pause for a few seconds. Then repeat until they die or maybe giveup.

*note when I'm at it vs multiples meaning 5+ usually around 10-20 ships I just ION D indefinately til every single ship is stripped of guns. Eventually by then suddenly 2-3 will surrender and then I will keep at it til I find out the remaining hard cases. Then I try the other method. When it's 3-4 I'll be less patient and switch to the CHIP method to speed things up. FORCE Ejection

Tho any ship is a great ship to cap in based on pilot and dogfighting preference.
Thanks again to Al for his wonderful guide that helped me get my feet wet when I first started playing more then a month ago.
