I've been playing the demo of Freelancer as its due out today in usa and in april in the uk (which is where I am)
I really enjoyed the demo and was thinking of getting the game when it comes out BUT I have just heard about X2 and read this forum for info as i cant seem to access the egosoft site well (which I know know is due to server problems) I want more info & features of the game... I've heard about x-BTF & x-Tension downloaded the demo for BTF but it wont run well on my win2000 machine
What I want to know is there any fan sites for X2-The Threat where I can get more info about features etc as what I've read so far seems to knock FL for six - I heard about, economics (supply & demand), Flying battleships & carriers, Building factories, owning more than one ship. etc.... I Want more info... eg what about the physics of flying / rotating planets / hailing other ships... (FL got boring always asking where peopl are flying) / missions (again FL only has kill a ship type missions)
Please if anyone has or knows of fansites can we please have a list for more info until ecosoft sorts out there server problems and gives us more infomation.

Egosofts server died last week and not everything's back to normal yet.
One of the best places for info is probably here. Most people who have fan sites have links to them in their sigs.
Have a browse through this forum, you might want to use the filter at the bottom to filter out the off topic stuff, there have been some other links posted recently, and some of the freelancer topics have X2 feture discussions
