GSYNC + DLSS - tearing?

Post by zakaluka »

I want to check in with others here because I don't know how to frame this as a bug report. I have a 3070 Ti, and while running the 8.0 beta, I often notice screen tearing. At first I thought nvidia had disabled g-sync for some reason, but that's not it. My settings in the nvidia control panel have gsync enabled, and I can get the gsync indicator to show up, so the nvidia driver at least thinks we're trying to do adaptive refresh rate.

But it changes form with my display settings. If I use DLSS / balanced, it's extremely noticeable. (I have other issues with the standard DLSS profile in this game, so...) When I upscale, turn on DLAA, I can still notice tearing sometimes but it's not as constant.

Anyone else with similar issues?

If I can figure out how to frame this as a bug report I'll add to the beta feedback forum.

If you upgraded to 8.0 Beta 3 ..
.. Then you are not alone in seeing problems. For me its the general game performance has gone downhill with this update, someone else has also commented in the Frame Gen sticky topic in the Beta forum about similar issues.
