The Encyclopaedia is a bit rubbish at times, you go to look something up you're interested in buying - say a Station production module - and you can't see it's stats yet cos you don't own the BP. Doh! With Ship modules it's easier as you can go into outfitting (like start the process of buying a ship) outfit it with whatever you want, then right-click > Encyclopaedia.

I think, when looking at ANY BP in the Faction Rep's screen, we should be able to right-click > Encyclopaedia there and get the full stats, which would then be added to our copy so to speak. We should not have to rely on external tools or memory to know what a Module we've not bought yet actually does.

Am I reading the encyclopedia wrong, the SL pulse beamer says it does 1,300mj against a shield and 1,500mj against a hull. that's a lot more than other weapons. it is a misprint or am I maybe just misunderstanding the whole thing.

Timelines DLC is now required.
Disclaimer regarding new DLC: it is my policy that all current DLCs are required for my (major) mods, Timelines is not an exception, however, scenarios in Timelines were not updated for VRO balance, its practically impossible to do due to hand-crafted nature of them.
Instead, with VRO on new game or save load all blueprints closed behind completing scenarios will be granted for free.

Patch 4.10
- Update of all 7.0 and Timelines DLC for VRO balance
- Increased travel thrust for all M engines by approx 20%
- Fixed Kitsune not able to fire torpedoes when piloted by AI
- Fixed few other small issues

What would happen when I play Timelines with your mod installed?

And can we get access to the new sectors with VRO (those which normally would be unlocked by playing timelines)?

But doesnt actually describe what the mod does ???

First, I am not nor will ever be, a member of Discord. Tried it a few times, its really shit, cant find anything in any kind of normal forum format, its just a list of chats going back to ancient times I cant be arsed searching through the thousands of posts for something relevant? to what I may be searching for?, can we search on there for a full description?.
The download page on Nexus is where I would expect a full description of what it does .. But it just describes a TLDR, where's the full description ???
The WIKI describes what it doesn't do .. Ok, what does it do ???
And I am not a member of Steam, so steam workshop is not an option.

So where can we find what it does do, a full description ???

I am interested in the mod if there is still such a thing as VRO Lite (can't remember where I heard about that, but I do know at one time it was a thing), but have no idea where to find this information. Can I use this mod on my laptop without any reduction in performance compaired with vanilla game ???

I am interested because the most recent "New Flight Model" of the game is ruining weapons / ships and how I expect the game to behave. So as reluctant as I am to give up the possibility of engaging with Ventures at some point in the future, and helping with beta testing .. The game seems to be going in a bad direction due to employing someone from Star Citizen.

its not able anymore to play with version 7.10 !!!¨i had over 300 Hour inside the save up please fix that for the actual Version

i see, by my friends its also working.... could it be possible bcs i playing via Ge Force now that its not loading the Folder bcs there is no one on it on that Rig i using from them ? but then it would make no sense bcs i saved always the stuff on Steam Cloud.

I guess it is some mistake with Parranid S shields. It looks unbalanced and these shields are better then other S shields from all factions.

At the same time Paranid M / L / XL shields looks ok.

I have a small question regarding the required DLC policy - will you require also the mini-DLCs going forward? With the introduction of the newly announced Hyperion mini-DLC I am concerned about the direction of the DLCs as a whole, so I do not know if I will want to purchase the mini ones. Just wanted to know if I will be able to continue using VRO or not.

VRO 4.30 is out , steam and nexus updated

Hyperion DLC is NOT required, but supported. You still need VRO assets as requirement, there is no change to it.

Changelog:
- Updated for 7.50 and new flight physics
- Improved tracking of all guns
- Improved thruster output, mostly for S and M ships.
- Decreased inertial for most M combat ships

Have a question. VRO killed all my Terran station plans. Even those which I created before using VRO and never used with VRO. I deactivate VRO X4 tells me VRO 4.3 assets and stuff is missing. I activate VRO and X4 tells me "The construction plan cannot be chosen due to incompatible equipment items.".

Is there a way to fix this?

Edit: Okay, did some testing and found the culprit, the load out of my weapons platforms got corrupted? :gruebel:

For the weapon platforms, don't worry, it's not a “bug”, VRO has removed some turrets from the platforms, so it's logical that your load out isn't good now.
As for the construction plan, I think it's because the weapon platforms aren't the same.

If you want to keep your construction plan, you need to unzip the CAT/DAT folder of the VRO, for which you have XRCatTool.
Then go to: Your_VRO_Unpacked\assets\structures\
and remove the "defence" folder.

I hope I've answered your question

Not corrupted as simply not compatible anymore due to changes VRO makes to the weapons. The "old" pre-VRO weapons in your cosntruction plans no longer exist, as they have been overwritten by VRO versions, some of which cannot be mounted on stations (most likely the L Pulse turret becoming L Point Singularity Projector, which requires a special High Energy slot that stations do not have). Remember VRO is not save-compatible, which also extends to your saved loadouts.
