‘Extremely disturbing and unethical’: new rules allow VA doctors to refuse to treat Democrats, unmarried veterans

Labeling this as progress is everything one needs to know about the "new" US. Full steam ahead back to the cave age.

the only parallel I have is that Putin's regime is very pro military, pro war right now, and yet it too never talks about veterans, or provides needed services to them. The regime thinks they are useless

in Trump's America, we all recall that being a Democrat is considered a disease. I think governor of Florida coined that first

and didn't Trump call veterans "losers" long ago?

But is it really Trump‘s parade? After all it was „the US army brought to you by Coinbase“. It was less of a military parade and more an ad for a crypto exchange.
well I had to read up on this to know it's real

everything is a clown show with these people

outstanding. if that's the game they're going to play then banks should start barring republicans from obtaining credit and housing loans. stores and restaurants should prohibit republicans from being on their property. I would say schools should prevent them from attending but they seem to do that all on their own so, meh.

Seems like those are not only new rules for patients but also staff at hospitals. To quote the article:
„Guardian“ wrote:[…]Doctors and other medical staff can also be barred from working at VA hospitals based on their marital status, political party affiliation or union activity, documents reviewed by the Guardian show. The changes also affect chiropractors, certified nurse practitioners, optometrists, podiatrists, licensed clinical social workers and speech therapists.[…]

Trump launches cell phone + cell phone plan

https://www.cnbc.com/2025/06/16/trump-m ... -plan.html

Native Americans being targeted as not American due to their colour. Has helped democrats. Could technically bring up that native americans (mexicans, etc...) traveled back and forth before and it's their right.

Some other attempted killings and a vehicle driven through protestors. Some repuplicans are saying the attackers are democrats not that different than saying we are all going to die anyway when medicade brought up.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7T4F1E0oYPs

Hegsmith might have a coke problem? Some weird nose twitching/hand/head stuff.

Majority of Americans are against trump. Republicans don't seem to show up for anything except a few religious fanatics. Parade was mostly empty. Every person protesting represents more that didn't show up.

Trump wrote:Our soldiers never give up. Never surrender and never, ever quit. They fight, fight, fight. And they win, win, win.
Is he talking about the same soldiers that quit and ran away from Afghanistan, leaving behind thousands of allies to deal with the aftermath of American creation, or the soldiers who quit and ran away from Vietnam leaving behind hundreds if not thousands of American POW's to suffer in hell. Is this the same soldiers he called suckers, the ones he used fraud to abandon when he was called up to join them in their fight in Vietnam, or is he talking about different set of soldiers.

Well the Orange one has signed a trade deal with the EU via the UK PM. So I guess he's ended Brexit now!

The UK didn't have a trade deal with the US beforehand, so neither party never gained nor lost anything, the more interesting part was that Trump turned tail and ran away so he didn't have to face anyone else.

I just thought it was funny that the "very stable genius" doesn't know the EU isn't the UK. But I suppose it's a pretty curious thing that the UK is seemingly trying to kiss his orange ass when everyone else clearly can't stand him.

Trump headed back to the US early from the g7. Has asked the war room to be ready. US has been preparing for a ground invasion/defense in middle for at least 2 months. Was guessing it would either be Yemen or Iran. China's instructed it's citizens to leave Israel immediately which is common sense. There's been more US plane movements towards the middle east and some stuff from Ukraine was rerouted there. Trump might go to war to try to distract from trouble at home. No credible claims of Iran building nukes or preparing an invasion of Israel as far as I know. Anyways it's seem premeditated vs actually responding to a real threat.

ICE likely to run out of their budget next month with the increased raids. So will run billions over budget.

US economy contracted.

US credit rating decreased meaning billions or even trillions of dollars in increased debt payments.

Trump going heavy into drones. Offensive weapons vs defensive. Means invasions.

Seems a few misunderstandings here; the US/UK trade deal is with the UK and not the EU - which is why the UK PM alone received it. It is entirely because of Brexit (and note that I was/am not a Brexit supporter) that the UK is allowed to make an independent trade deal with the US. As to kissing anything (ass or babies), I guess that's a typically routine part of politics even if you don't like doing it or mean it. :D

More telling from my perspective was that at the start of the press interview about the UK/US deal, Trump managed to drop the trade agreement paperwork out of the smart folder and onto the ground (lucky it wasn't raining). The UK PM had to pick them up as Trump made little move to. I suspect that either Trump wanted to show how little significance to him the deal had, or some admin functionary that prepared the folder and/or didn't rush out to pick up the papers when he dropped them is now on their way to some other country in a no-windows ICE van.

Had to laugh about that EU thing as well when watching Starmers & Trumps press video. "Great people" Donald really has no clue what he is talking about.

So Trump just demanded Iran‘s unconditional surrender. My question is this (and it is an honest question as news are moving way to fast right now), did America ever officially declare war on Iran or did Trump simply skip that step?

US sent another thaad to the middle east. Lots of planes of all types.

Trump pulling a false flag attack in a blue state seems to be a popular rumor. Trying to get support or get more emergency powers to attack the democrats in those states. Or he might use it to do other things on his agenda.

Well to be fair - skipping declaration of a war was not something that started with Trump. What is fascinating to see is that Israel attacked and Trump feels compelled to join a war because....reasons?
