Where do you reside in X4 Foundations?
As the topic says, where are you all residing in the systems of X4? I'm going to move again, but just don't know where to go?

Intriguing question, will be interesting to see what other responses you get. As for myself, I generally have my HQ in a terraforming sector, simply for the convenience of being able to easily train pilots & marines in large numbers whenever I need them.
In my current game it's in Memory of Profit at the moment. However that terraforming project is mostly done (mission's complete, I'm just a perfectionist & temperature, humidity & oxygen are still slightly sub-optimal). Currently pondering a temporary move to Sacred Relic when that's done. Although that's not a terraforming sector I am in the process of building a substantial amount of housing at my HQ (100+ Paranid L domes), so the workforce recruitment bonus for a sector with a planetary population of over 11 billion is certainly tempting to help fill it.
As for the rest of my stuff, I'm playing as a Paranid (Uncocooned start) so my fixed stations are all in PAR or HOP sectors - mineral & gas refining stations in Pious Mists IV & XI (respectively), food & meds production in Trinity Sanctum VII & 3 production stations (adv electronics, weapons, turrets & shields) in Holy Vision to support HOP in their various wars.

Re: Where do you reside in X4 Foundations?
My HQ tends to be parked in terraforming sectors, but I'm rarely on it. Got stations spread out across the universe, don't have a main sector, do have a few core sectors related to supplying NPC shipyards to keep the conflicts going & the credits rolling in (Pious Mists II, Tharka's Ravine XVI & recently Getsu Fune)
Most time is spend on various ships flying across the universe, mainly the Hyperion & the Xshuttle. I do sometimes spend time watching the Avarice star, it is a pretty sector & the Tide announcements are fun. Also got an H patrolling the Unknown sector that I sometimes teleport on for it has a great 'End/edge of the Universe' feel.

Well, windfall and avarice sectors
Two different scenery, a lot of resources albeit low density (except maybe avarice V Dead End) Tide wipes every Khaak Installation on it's own

Defensible Chokepoints, Literally Center of the map thus insane accessibility and trade potential.
Only downside would be imho micromanagement of tide (issuing protectyon, modifying ships) aaaand best of all more FPS, cause you kill vig

Aahi and there is that solar rate %1390 with full habitats at %1988, you can produce enough ecell to supply a full supply chain (30 production modules each 60 for some, 300k workforce etc etc) with only 3-4 ecell modules.
So yeah, i like it here. Pretty decent all around.
I am not kiddin though, best thing is killing vig. My game is so smooth right now, it's insane how much difference that one faction makes.
I also didn't bother myself with hq at all.
In terms of scenery though, i am very curious about turqouse sea that music and scenery is just ethereal.

Tharka's Cascade 15. Decent choke point for farming mats and superior resource density.
Oh really? Need to enable music, then. If only there was a way to disable combat music.

Yeo, trust me you will LOVE that, i mean visually and audio wise, even if didn't have resources, i would still build a base here imho it's the most beatiful part of X4 for me.
But yeah also a great place for resources. Especially great for terran. In-fact it's also one of few places with a rather high nividium regeneration rate

One thing more, read the description for those sectors, you'll understand why these sector have this kind of scnery and audio.

Kind of reminds of Kindom End in X2. Then the atrocious combat music kicked in and I had to turn it off again. Shame.

In my Dragon Raider.
Where is my Dragon? Where-ever I fancy/need to be in person. Frequently on the ring highway as that catched most War Guild offers.
Don't I have stations? I do, but since the game does not make them interesting, I don't care about them.
