Like, the sum of all your factories, ships + cash ? I role play quite a lot and want to track the growth of the empire

They can't do that since all numbers in X3 are 32-bit. You can have up to ~2 billion credits per account, but the game can't add them together ar encounter an integer overflow.

Yes, they can. The player account can hold more than 2 billion credits in X3AP, see the survival guide for details.

That doesn't mean they have to add all numbers in one value. You can simply store everything greater than one billion credits and everything lower than one billion credits in different values.

Not in the vanilla game. But check the Scripts and Modding forum, maybe you find something there.
