The change was made sometime recently after the release of Windows 11 24H2. Thus Microsoft no longer officially endorses this bypass method even though the trick itself may work.

Eggs. I was at a major grocery store yesterday and was shocked to see the egg section totally empty. I am assuming this is due to the bird flu that is spreading like wildfire in US egg farms? Since I am vegan, the lack of eggs doesn't concern me personally, but I know a lot of people for whom eggs are a mainstay of their diet.

So it looks like Tesla and Musk are not having a good time of it right now, Tesla stock has crashed, and it doesn't look like it is going to slow down any time soon. I stumbled onto this guy and he does a good job of painting the Tesla crash. I'm going to predict Musk's time at Tesla is getting pretty close to the end and I would not be surprised if he is gone well before the end of the year, and I can't see Trump sticking with him for much longer either.

I really hope the stock continues to free fall. at this rate, hopefully will be worthless. then Tesla board members will have to really consider if having Musk around is a good thing, but I think if they value their shares and the product, they will boot him. Once booted, Musk might not be as powerful as he once was. Then Trump might give him the boot.

What Musk is doing is self inflicting, I wonder if he knew this was going to happen, before he took a chainsaw to the US government? He probably still has some backup, but with Tesla free falling, maybe destroying the US is still his end goal?

Hmm, considering the frequent mayhem and grief caused by hackers, I think any general praise for them regarding a specific case of an unpopular (if lucrative/sensational) target seems somewhat misled. Their stated reason/excuse sounds a bit more like self-justification for something they were going to do anyway, IMO.

Related: In Oregon, where I live, I see that vandals are shooting up Tesla stores, breaking windows and damaging Tesla cars. Nice going there too I suppose? It wasn't long ago, that Tesla and all things Musk, were the darling of liberals.

And yes - I do welcome that Twitter / X is down. As I deem it one of the most wicked things of our times. In fact I'd cheer if all the social media platforms would be gone for good. But it'll take a lot more time for humanity to overcome this.

The Tesla/Musk is not just in America, it all over the place, In Germany it looks demonstrators wanted to demolish the Tesla factory, while in London all the Tesla/musk advertisements have been replaced by some pretty funny anti-musk anti-Tesla posters. Meanwhile, Teslas share price which has been slowly going down for some time now took a nose dive this morning and lost around 10% or so in value in a matter of minutes I reckon Musk's net value has dropped by over $200 Billion so far this year and all because he made his bed alongside Trumps. It's pretty hard to feel sorry for the guy, though, if anyone is deserving of it Musk is that person.


Onto a totally different and unrelated matter. AMD had it's 9070/9070 XT launch, and it quickly turned into a farce, though not as much as a farce as Nvidia's launches have been and for a totally different reason. While Nvidia launched it new graphics cards on paper only, with only a small limited amount of cards for actual sale, AMD had plenty of cards for sale, but the price of said cars shot through the roof in a matter of minutes after they went on sale, with retailers saying the MSRP was only going to be for the first batch of released cards. It looks like AMD were not happy about this as it painted them in a bad way and over the weekend they have been telling their card partners that they have to sell their cards at MSRP or as close as possible, well at least the base cards if they want to add bells and whistle onto their cards and sell them at a higher cost then that is fine, but the base cards have to be around MSRP price. As far as I have heard, AMD are even subsidizing those partners to make this happen, so there are cards in the shops and their prices have come down again. The funny part it looks like the scalpers were buying those cards as the price was going up and of course as the price of the cards have come down, and they are in the shops for sale right now the scalpers are stuck with overpriced cards that they can't sell.

The cards themselves are meant to be pretty good, though Nvidia still has the better ray tracing, but apart from that the AMD cards are the better cards. I still think they are overpriced for me, I do fancy getting one of the 9070 non XT cards while they are not much cheaper than the XT version, there is little difference in FPS but the NON XT version uses a third less power than the XT version, so I'm thinking what with the price of Lecky here being it is and going up, over the card's lifetime the power saved will pay for the card and then some and all just for the price of a few missing FPS that I will never notice.

While this is not taking away anything from the point you are making, it should be mentioned that Tesla was already disliked by activist groups from Germany‘s left wing sphere. Germany has always had a pretty strong radical Green movement that is well organized. Groups like Disrupt (responsible for „Disrupt Tesla“) probably have considerable overlap with groups like Ende Gelände which is also just the latest iteration in a long line of similar movements.

Edit: Also as I just remembered that some people might not be familiar with the more radical green movements we have in Germany and might be confused why they are against an electric car company, here is the important part from their website:
