Tbh they're doing a lot of work on other things, even without the new ship.Karvat wrote: ↑Mon, 3. Some builder textures are even missing, and the map remains chaotic and static. Given that repetitive mission additions have already shown their limitations with Timelines, this approach seems misguided.
The focus should instead be on meaningful improvements, such as restructuring faction relationships, implementing random or procedural map generation, and expanding ship and faction variety. A DLC that introduced a new class of ships for all factions, similar to how M3+ added diversity in X3, would have been far more appreciated.
However, it will all come down to pricing.
If it's 15e, I won't buy it full price, as opposed to everything else. Sort of regretted doing that for Timelines (purchasing it for 12e, shouldn't have been more than 10 at launch).... that 'DLC' should be available with every new base game purchase so new players in the X Universe can know wtf is going on lore-wise.
If it's 5e, sure. Have 5e for keeping up the good work while also giving me a ship and a sector.
