Hi,
X4 keeps crashing on my machine. Usually 1-6 crashes per day depending in use.
The version is 7.1 (538965) vanilla
The crashes happen at random, and they are very bad because the computer behaves as if I have press the reset button.
The dxdiag is in this link:

Re: Random crashes
If your PC restarts then that's not something the game itself can do. Crashes of that kind are pretty much always caused by driver or hardware issues, and note that can be the case even if the PC is stable when running other games, because every game stresses a system differently and uses different driver features.
The most frequent causes include:
• Out of date graphics or sound drivers
• Missing BIOS updates
• Graphics hardware problems
• Memory faults
• Power supply issues

Re: Random crashes
From your DxDiag, you have a Microsoft generic sound driver for your Realtek onboard sound chipset. I would get the latest WHQL Realtek HD Audio Codec (probably R 2.83) for your system.
Your Windows Error Reporting has no actual X4 AppCrashes but, besides a couple of update issues, it mainly includes RADAR_PRE_LEAK_64 issues with many different applications. Whilst the latter are not serious issues of themselves, their frequency across many apps might indicate potential system memory issues and so a Windows RAM check might be useful.
Good luck.

Re: Random crashes
I have a RTX 3080 Ti, and a Seasonic 800 Watts Power Supply. The card is know to draw current 'spikes', and sometimes, for example with Starfield and the New Generation Witcher 3, my PC just reboots. This happens, because the graphic card draws much more current as usual (only as a spike, less than one second), overloads the Power Supply, and the Power Supply shuts down. This causes a full reboot, and no error entry in the system.cxz7410 wrote: ↑Mon, 23. Sep 24, 11:36 Hi,

That said: If your PC shuts down completely and without error message, and then reboots, your power supply is probably overloaded for a short time. Adjusting graphics down a bit solves this (and a new 1000 Watts Seasonic, which I was too lazy to install until now will also help, I hope

So - from your description, you could try to tune the graphics down a bit, and check if it still happens.
