Lore quesiton- Teladi & Saurian

I'm confused as to why Nopileous is referred to as a Saurian many cases. Can someone explain this to me? Is there a difference between Saurian and Teladi? Or is it just another word to describe lizard people? If so, Why aren't all Teladi all referred to as Saurians?

Yes, it's another word to describe "Lizard people". Saurian is the genus or species i.e. the biological classification of a Teladi.

Depends on the context. In the books I think it's sometimes used to draw attention to a difference in appearance, i.e. "saurian eyes" or "saurian body". But I think to a degree it's simply used to have another word for 'teladi', and to prevent repetition.

Well Argons, Terrans and Yaki as examples are all humans but have different factions. Split may be humanoid but are not humans. Who knows if there are other Saurian (ie lizard folk) factions than just the Teladi and Ministry?
