HI all,
hope you can help.
Im currently modding a ship in to the game, not gona lie im pulling the data from the starwars mod.
Just want to clarify:
Mod wont be published its for my personal use as i dont like that it overhauls the game
I have no modeling experiance so cant creat my own models at the min
I have managed to get the tie fighter (small ship) in to the game its textured and has all the weapons and conponents. It also builds and flys with an AI in it. But the second i try to get in the cockpit be it by ladder or in space docking. My character freezes in place and it locks up the game. Menus are still usable.
I belive the cockpit isnt rendering, but im not able to find any lines of code that link to the cockpit date files. Is this linked in the model data API?

Re: Issue when modding a ship in to the game
with S and M the cockpit is part of the ship. if the ship renders so does the cockpit. im pretty sure neither shuulo nor mik did change that.
the thing you describe sounds like a collision issue. can u use the map and teleport away? if yes its defenitly a collision model issue.

Yeah i can use all the menus and also teleport away. i tried a differnt small ship and the same thing happened, but on this one the inside of the cockpit was see through thats what made me think there was a rendering issue. Just to test things i tried a large ship and i could walk around the inside of the bridge but there was no texture on the walls.
Im currently on holiday but when back on monday i will post some images.
