Crash to Desktop after Installing new Patch + Timelines DLC

Hi. I just bought and installed the new DLC and the game will not start.

Clicked play from steam > starting game dialogue box prompt > White screen > Black screen > Idle > 'X4 has stopped working'.
Never had any problems before.

Troubleshooting:
Game files verified (no problems). Workshop mods removed. Timelines DLC removed.

Problem persists.

We can't really help you without the information requested in the very first thread at the top of the forum. At a wild guess, though, maybe one of your mods isn't fully uninstalled.
