no one knows that it was the khaak that were secretely working behind the scenes watching the earth empire spread through space.They had to do something to stop this outrage.Hive mind cluster 234745 came up with a contingancy plan.They would send a computer virus that would infect the cores of the terraformer ships on the most outermost frontier systems.The virus would create a feedback loop mixing bottom up and top down intellegences with neural networking algorithms.It would take up more and more processor power and memory until there was no resources left except those devoted to prime directives.It would then be up to the ai to decide whether or not to delete the prime directives for more resources.The khaak hoped that this would cause disaster.Then they watched and waited.
