X4: 6.10 Ship Insane Speed on Load - Fix in a future build.

I keep having a problem where when I load my game, my ship is moving at insane speeds and I'm thrown 5-10k km outside of the sector by the time I manage to stop.

At first I thought the problem was me saving when using accelerators, but then I started seeing it happen when I save the game while flying with just travel speed or regular speed in the middle of a sector. I'm playing an unmodded english version of the game using the Tides of Avarice prison break start and I have all the DLC installed.

I just playing again recently and it has already happened to me at least a dozen times now and it is extremely frustrating. Twice I was able to stop it from happening if I pause the game right as it finishes loading, but before the screen changes from black. My only real fix is to edit my save and setting the velocity of my ship to 0 in all vectors, but that results in a modified game warning. Interestingly, the speeds in my saves are normal so I suspect it might be some sort of physics interaction happening at load.

I loaded your save and I'm instantly going at ridiculous speeds, backwards, and I'm already 5200 km from the sector center. It appears your save has gotten corrupted somehow. Do you have a previous save before this happened, or does it happen in all of your saves? If the latter, have you tried verifying your game files with Steam?

I have a manual save a couple hours before that save and it loads just fine with my ship moving at a normal speed. It doesn't happen to all of my saves. Most of the time the game saves and loads normally. Out of an abundance of caution, I did try verifying with Steam when it first happened and no problems were found. Lately I've been bringing my ship to a complete stop prior to saving and I haven't had it happen since.

i just want to add I also had a similar situation about a week ago when i was loading into a game where i was in mid combat, my ship was suddenly flung at extream speeds, i found if i paused at the right time during loading it could mitigate some of the speed, but still got sent about 900km out of sector before i was able to recover ship, sadly i didnt have a save for this, this was also during the recent beta so 6.1.

This save is labeled as modified because I have been manually fixing this bug by setting my ship velocity to 0 when it happens. No other mods have been installed or changes made.

I had started a new game and just into this bug again. Here is another save if it is helpful in identifying the problem:

This time, I quicksaved while my travel drive was engaged and when I loaded back into the game into the game I was being thrown out of the sector in Trinity Sanctum VII.

This will be fixed in an upcoming update.
