Exit Error Code 122 need help please.

Hello,

I have a 100% reproducibal, without exception Exit Error Code including Game Crash 122.

When I try to copy or build an additional TER defence plattform i get exit code 122 with a gamecrash. Also in low graphics.

I have:
Gamelaguage German
Gameversion Multiverse BETA
GAME is not moded
CPU 7900x
GPU 7900xtx
RAM 32GB 5600+MHz
60GB Virtual Ram on a M2 with 7k Read/Write
Windows 11 Prof.

We need a bit more information to be able to help you properly.

122 EXITCODE_GFX_TOO_MANY_DRAWCALLS "Too many of something", details stated in the errorbox which appears on crashing Exit Code 122

I have deleted 70% of my very big station and planing a new design.

The exit code 122 disapeard, but I am shure this problem is releated to the amount of modules i have builded.
I hope the problem will not apear again but egosoft should overhaul the station building, because it is not handy at all and with bigger station you are not able to select lot of modules for replacing or retrofit them with defance.

We'd still appreciate a savegame demonstrating the problem, to help us track down whether we can improve things.

Also, please try disabling the Steam overlay and then see if you can load the savegame you were having problems with.

That's only the first few lines of your DXDiag, and is missing all the important information. Please post the whole thing.

You also didn't respond to the question about disabling the Steam overlay.

Thank you for the responding.

I checked regarding steamoverlay. It was and is overall deactived + also disabled in the steam gamesettings at x4 directly.

If this is helpful, I have reproduced the exit code and writing down the exact message from the window befor you can klick on ok and it opens in the internet browser.

A fatal error has occured and the game cannot recover.
Exit code:122

Can you just make sure that the game is running on your graphics card, not the on-board graphics of your CPU? If you're not sure, you can upload your config.xml file, from the folder that contains your save folder.

If this information is usefull:

I have disabled the CPU Grafikadapter and switched the Grafikkard from the new 7900XTX to my old 1080TI and the problem still exists.

The problem is not hardware related.

Please change the Topic Name back to original Text ("Exit Error Code 122 help please"). There is no work around, except deleating the station, what is not a solution.

After every crash i get like the same dumpfile text. could it be a Kernelbase!RaiseException+0x6c problem?
And how can I fix that?

I have reinstalled Windows 11 and reinstalled everthing. I still get the exite code 122 when trying to build.

Testing other games like Scum (in Vulcan), Cyberpunk, No Mans Sky, Satisfactory in epic graphic and 4k UHD, where running greate.

Even in Cyberpunk with the experimental epic graphic settings I had min 45 frames on 1 hour gameplay.

Please help me to solve the problem with X4 foundations.

The problem is that the game is running into a fixed limit on the number of things that the drivers are able to draw in one frame. We are working on solutions to this, but this isn't something we can do instantly.

Unfornatly that does not explain, why my savegame is working proparly on 2 other systems, from discord-frieds.

I have given them my save and they could place any building, but they had an older pc.

Unfortunately I missed the deadline for seeing your uploaded DxDiag. The only things that I can think of without seeing it that *might* explain your friends being able to avoid the issue using your save is that they have graphics cards/drivers and/or graphics settings that are coping better.

I was able to run your game locally too. The only relevant difference I'm aware of is that I have NVIDIA graphics hardware and drivers, which appear to have higher limits.

will this problem remain under version 7.0? Or is there a way to outwalk it with special settings. I use 7900x CPU and 7900xtx GPU.
