Terran planetary senator locked
Good evening!
À new question or maybe bug?
My Terran status is locked at Planetary senator 98%
But it doesn't move at all. I don't understand why...
I make terran missions, earn a lot of money, but this status doesn't move...
What do you think about it?

There exists an upper cap to relations; you can't be above +8 with a faction if you are already above +8 with one of that faction's enemies (in this case.... basically any other faction, because Terrans hate everyone aside from TerraCorp).

Perhaps? But you know... it does kinda make sense. If Terrans and Argon absolutely hate each other's guts, they're not going to sell their best military tech to someone who'll might just turn around and use it to help their deepest foe, you understand. Besides, it's plenty easy to lose a few ranks temporarily to swap over, once you've purchased what you need from one faction anyway.

Ran into this issue in the past. I was told the same thing.
Would be nice if the game tells you there is a upper limit.
Currently if I send my agent to boost rep, it will actually say 30% Guardian of Earth.
But then when the job is done, it goes back to 98% Planetary Senator. Then everyone else gets negative rep.
My rep had an overflow issue from v1.0.
I tried redoing 5 x 1000 Terran notoriety.
Then 5 x Terran reputation boost jobs. Still nothing, because 2 of my other faction reps are just too high.
While the highest are decreasing ever so slightly, the rest are just going straight to enemy status.
Appreciate the "dynamic" rep system. But in the backend it is a formula and it isn't fine tuned...

I completely agree that some sort of indication/cap should be implemented for potential agent missions (perhaps an expansion of the initial Plot agent mechanic when you couldn't assign an agent to gather more than the required gain?) Otherwise players will spam max-cap agent missions regardless of their efficacy, thus wasting potential agent tasks (hence leading to frustration & more (potentially unnecessary) agent-hunting)PDS001Sniper wrote: ↑Fri, 28. Never played AP; all X3 advice is based on vanilla+bonus pack TC or before: AP has not changed much WRT general advice.

Although I'm still confused as to why OTAS and TerraCorp hate each other, I thought they were both Argon companies.

They both are, but according to the Encyclopedia page, OTAS and TerraCorp had a bit of a corporate conflict in which OTAS basically took over a sector by force because TerraCorp got a needed subsidy program or something like that.

While OTAS is annoyed because of terracorp getting prefered treatment with goverment build TOAs, they actually took the sector from the argons.
I would say that the corps really should get a lower level of hostility:
Create a -1 hostility level and put most corps on that level to each other with a reduced penalty of -5%, maybe even only -2% to show that they are rivals but not the equivalent of two drug cartells trying to kill each other...
Make strongarms actually like they are in their description: "we dont care what you blow up as long as you pay us for our weapons". Strong arms would be a perfect company for asynchron relations: They simply dont care about what you do to others but the other races might care that you trade with strong arms.
Also terracorp is supposed to still have ties with sol. So terracorp should be positive to terrans.

I am at Hero of Sol 1% but everyone else except th Goner, TerraCorp and NMMC
So you might have to go and really attack some Argo Born Split and Paranoid and if there is some Telad hanging out in Brennan's Triumph Delta you will have to kick them out as well once you have all the aforementioned as enemies you will see your Terra rank go up
