*SPOILER* walkthrough -

Post by blackbow »

*SPOILER*

so I've got the Neptune gate opened and I helped the terrans get the heavy transporter filled up and I get asked to help the yokowhatever maru and suddenly I'm on the side of the terrans and the borons and argons and etc all hate me but they're not attacking my stations?

I don't have a fleet. I'm not interested in taking sides and losing recognition every single time I kill a ship in that fleet. By the time I get done I'll be satan to them.

Is the plot really that railroaded? help terra and be an argon enemy (along with pretty much everybody else)? Because if it is, that's a sucky plot, yo. I didn't realize we were turning this game into a Highlander knockoff where "in the end, there can be only one."

Currently you dont have to kill them all by yourself. As soon as all fighters are destroyed the mission concludes. It is a bit buggy currently and will first show as if you did nothing but then you get a second message that recognizes your effort. If you only kill the fighters you should be able to get out of it with rep losses that dont turn you into the devil incarnate

That's what the whole lore is a-bout my friend, you did the Terran Spy plot and now you are almost back to where you need to be and do not worry the Terran pay top credit for missions. There will be no Xenon or other pesky baddies flying a-round unless you do an escort mission. However I know I am late answering to this but I would get the Build Command MKs on your TL before stirring the pot and build a Mobile Drilling factory complex before doing so then let it rip.

There's also meant to be an invincible Kyoto around too that could kill everything too from what I've heard but not entire sure.

The only other than is do the killing piecemeal, take out one, send an agent to get the rep back up or do some missions, rinse and repeat. It is a rather buggy plot right now but its a way to do it.

The kyoto is there, yes. And right now you really only need to take out the fighters so its better to actually ignore the big ones to avoid the massive Rep loss. Wish you wouldnt lose Rep for destroying those since you are supposed to fly on a terran ship and yet everyone knows right away its you and not a teran navy pilot....

They are not your enemies, the mission just changes your current ships friend foe settings. Its really odd to be honest, just change them back and all those ships will no longer be marked hostile.
I havent continued, I just left and ill figure it out later.

You can reduce reputation loss by capturing capships.

I had almost max rep with argon and boron and after capturing all m2s i finished on +2/+3 reputation, which is totally fine.

1 teladi m2 was destroyed, so teladi rep ended up on -3.

You will also gain +500m credits :)

At the point the TL with Delilah Sirathori build the TOA to Brennan's Triumph Delta. You have to talk to Delilah and you decline her opertunity to venture into terran space. I just choose option 2 - " I'm not interrested in helping traitors such as you.". <> I am not sure where this will gonna lead me. Edit: 1- you get a mission talk to Scot Mikal. 2- You get a lot of argon sarcasm. 3- You are sent away and wait for their response. 4- They confirm your story and telling you they need Dililah and want you to capture the M6 Terran Koarasu Maru and you get from them a Argon Expres with marines to board the M6 (make sure you save the game at this point). 5- After you catured the M6 it is yours and you have to bring it to outpost and they thank you for bringing in Delilah and ask you to wait again. 6- They message you that they muster a huge fleet and you can participate with it. In the End when you jump in Their fleet got destyroyed and mission failed
This is want happened to me.

I declined purely to get the achievement, but another mission did come up to talk to someone in Aterius Clouds, but haven't actually pursued that questline just yet.

X fanatic. More of an X3 fanatic.
What about X4? Nah, I prefer a space simulator rather than a walking simulator.
