hi, just wondering if there were any scripts that changed the price of goods in a factory to suite the supply and demand i.e - the price falls when the factory is nearly full, and peaks when it is nearly empty.

Is there also any scripts that makes the power generators for the ships upgradeable, and sellable in stations - or just 1 that simply makes the power available unlimited! :)

You should post that request in the script and modding forum. I'm not an expert in scripts (running only the station accountant) but I think there is a script for almost everything.

your are talking about player stations, right? Since AI stations already have this behaviour.

It sounds like a good idea, but we have to check first, how this affects the stations production.
per principe this should help keep a steady production going, since the station will be willing to pay near max for resources if it is almost out of stock.

the whole thing could be done as a extension to stationaccountant/stationcap. like a higher expierience level or something (similar to trade mk3)

This was something desused in the signing post. that this sotr of script would only bee added if some kind of HQ mod was introducesed that could manage your stations. The player you have to own a HQ to activate the script.

yes, the problem with the "self-running demo"

yesterday an idea crossed my mind: a business assistant traveling around in one sector in a TP class ship (that would give them a use!) trying to manage your stations there.

mainly collecting the money and maybe adjusting the prices.
only real problem about this is the mentioned self-running effect
we would have to add some negative effects to it. (i.e. consuming about 10 to 20 percent of each stations profit, make dumb desicions on a random base or something)

the idea has to be worked out in more detail, yet, but i think i'm on it ;)
