There was plenty of things in previous games mentioned in data file, but never finished (e.x. Xenon TL since X-Tension).
BTW they mentioned about incoming new dock modules
....<connecting the dots>.....Terran specific docking modules - it wouldn't make sense if they would use same docks or same anything as other races.
Damn, I was already thinking you're talking about cap ships PHYSICALLY docking with a station instead of just floating in space some hundreds of meters away.

I think that Terran ships will look something like this:

Oooohhh, I see a design I recognize and like very much. It have always been one of my favourites.
Did you import it yourself, or is it from a mod? If the later, which one?
Humans are deuterostomes, which means that when they develop in the womb the first opening they develop is the anus.
This means that at one point you were nothing but an asshole.

No Borons?! Really?!!
It would be a tragedy to not get the Borons eventually. For all the stations a Boron should simply stay on the ship in a tank (reachable per elevator) and use an android or something to walk around. For Boron stations just implement some tanks to see where some station Borons are in, but keep interactions in public humanoid areas.
Now add an animation that floods any cockpit (for purely Boron crews) and let players swim from the tank/elevator to the controls.
Is it great? No. Could it be immersive enough and also keep the extra work needed in a doable range? I hope so.
An X universe without Borons is not an X universe!
So, back to topic: Terrans first, oh yeah.
So Boron would be the only race to not have invented space suit in a space game?
One of the main problem is thus to allows space suit to work as a "diving" suit for boron to "aerial" races and for "aerial" to "water "races. The second problem would be the command seat on board as boron are rather small, which is in my opinion one of the main designer problem (Well, Boso might suffers from dwarfism).
Egosoft can also have made boron a hostil non-played race until they resolve their problem of space suit.

Let’s hope the Terrains are very very expensive, so you need to be well funded to even consider there ships. Make them a lot harder to get than the Split were! We deserve a challenge !
I look forward to the addition of more ships, and for them to be spectacular to look at.
This has probably been mentioned but having the accelerators from X3, or something similar, return would be cool as it'd give a unique identity to navigating through Terran space.

If only I could cap those Dragons... they all rather choose death than chance to fight another day.
Silly me! The station should've told me it was XR.
The background was the source of the confusion. I didn't recognize it, so I thought it might be from a split sector I haven't found yet.

Accelerators are already a thing in X4 vanilla. Look, for example, in Hewa's Twin, Silent Witness, or Heart of Acrimony.

High price does not mean more challenge. There are ways to get to 100+ million in your first hour of playing if you stack all odds in your favour.
Don't forget not everyone is starting fresh. There will be people on billionaire accounts just waiting for a new faction.
If you want to make it truly hard to get their ships, let the Terran start out at -25 Rep to the player and give all of their pilots 4-5 star morale so they don't easily bail + high skill marines on their ships only.

And make a very challenging Terran plot as a requirement to buy their ships!
