Is it compatible to the DLC?

I get an error for the Econ AI Module module.
In game I see a red exclamation mark in the extensions menu.

That means it tried to sync it with Steam and something went wrong. You should delete the mod and reinstall.

There's nothing that should directly conflict with the DLC, but obviously I have not yet been able to verify that everything is fine since I get it at the same time you do.

Assuming they use most of the same AI behaviors (extremely likely) then yes.

I CTD when accessing the encyclopedia with the mod active. Currently using this and tater trader as my only active mods. Game runs fine vanilla or with taters. Once I activate this one I CTD as soon as I click on the encyclopedia.

Added a new pirate group behavior (prioritizes large/wealthy stations, beware!)
How can i disable this? Having a swarm of destroyers attacking my factory is not nice...
Intel i7 8700, Gtx 1070, 16gb RAM. I think i'm ready for X4. Bring it on, Egosoft! [edit 2025: this signature didnt age well :lol: ]

you can disable it with some defense on that station :)
Fixed ships getting spawned away from ship configuration menu at resupply ships from automatically getting deployables.

I already got some defence there. Sometimes, there is that nastry SCA, that hunts my mining ships :(

Is it normal that factions double their major stations right from the get go ? I actually started a fresh new game to make sure my previous (15 hours) game wasn't bugged. Teladis had built a second trading ring, wharfs/shipyards were doubled in all the known space which was mainly split.
In this new game, FRF already has a second wharf in Heart of Acrimony II. It's not the worst, of course, it actually makes faction a bit safer but will it keep growing exponentially until the entire known universe is one giant shipyard ? :gruebel:

- Faction enhancer (all modules)
- XR ship pack
- XR ship pack VRO
- Weapon pack

I havent seen that yet with warfs/shipyards, but the ANT build a second trading station in their main system, after the original one in the void was destroyed two times (and rebuild a third time).

Ok, there was an oversight on my part as it appears I have an old aship mod version installed on my X4. I didn't think about checking "extension" because this was a fresh installation with 0 Steam subscription. I'll start a new game and see if it still happens. My bad. :gruebel: :gruebel: :evil:

It seems that Catchup module can cause Split stations to double each time you load the game.
@Mysterial, can you please check if its the real cause and how it can be fixed?

Can confirm it's still happening to me, even with a completely clean slate. 38 mins in, and I loaded the game once to have lunch. FRF has an extra shipyard in Heart of Acrimony II. It's fully built with no construction vessel around which seems uncanny.

The dlc is causing this bug with multiple mods. Mysterial was holding off on posting about it until he finds what specifically causes it. For my mod, it appears to have been solved by changing to save=0 in the content files of my mod and dlc, but speaking to mysterial yesterday, changing to save=1 seemed to help.

Make sure the Catchup module, if you're using it, says version 4.51. I had to change it to bind to the savegame to work around whatever weird game bug is causing the duplicate DLC stations.

In the extension tab, it does say 4.51. Do you think think the bug could be cleaned up as well or is the savegame most likely cooked ?

ps : do you need a copy of the savegame ? It could also be one of the VRO/XR pack though they don't interfere with stations at all well so most likely not.

I think the fix actually broke it in my game. I noticed I had quadruple free family shipyards and they added another one (plus all the normal factories) after I loaded the last savegame. Backtracked a bit and found my last working one the one before I used your fixed version. That one still used the older version from a few hours before. I've now set the save="true" to false again and it seems to work, sadly I lost 4 hours of playtime due to this. What an odd issue.
