Research improvements in 3.0?

Has improved research been punted to a later patch? Will it be coming for the release of Split Vendetta? This had originally been promised as a key feature for 3.0, but so far I have heard nothing regarding this. I would think that if egosoft had plans for improved research, they wouldn't have waited until beta #6 of 3.0 to have put something in.

I hope whenever new research is added it’s not a click a button and wait 10minutes thing... Devs might as well remove this „feature“ and unlock it with HQ

Think i seen in a dev blog or some where on here that they're adding new research options tied in with the missions, dunno if they're changing how researching works though atm i just rush the PHQ at the start so i can research everything at the beginning of the game.

Glad they made it easier by adding a start with the PHQ, just wish they would let us build it in whatever system we wanted or teleport it.

The silence on this and PHQ move feature is a bit concerning.
