Would be nice to have vaults remember their open/closed state to avoid confusion like this.

Been discussed some time ago in the beta forum, with no apparent reaction from the devs. Like, seriously, gray out the icon or something.

Data vaults are a good source of money when you first start out. Opening just a few will allow you to replace your starter ship and also you will get the parts for seta much faster. In the end though I mainly get them all just to get it out of my mission log. I hate having that 1 inactive mission sitting on my hud.
