What do I need to get my factory to start producing drones?
I have got a drone component factory.

Smart chips
E-cells
Weapon components

it is also bugged at the moment so what you ask for in the logical view window may/maynot happen..it is fixed in the next build according to beta forum
depending on whether you are after cargo/repair/defense require different quantities of each componenent...it does require much larger quantity of smart chips and e-cells to drone components

I can confirm that in the upcoming 2.50 the drone ordering logic and drone target amount controls will be fixed.

Drones are made from Smart Chips, Drone Components and Energy Cells. Dismantled drones are refunded to a hidden storage with 100% efficiency and can be used to build other drones instantly.

Thanks, this was a new save and will wait for it to come out of Beta. I don't want to lose any progress just in case anything goes wrong
Even backing up my save, I can still muck it up
