Can't get out of Behemoth in Spacesuit - Final fix coming in a build after 2.50 b1

Can't get out of Behemoth in Spacesuit. Anyone have this issue and/or know a work around. There is a small opening but it's too small. I just bounce around off the walls.

Think there is an issue where capships won't drag you (nor your ship) while in spacesuit - maybe that's the problem?
When you exit in spacesuit near a capship normally you should have 0 velocity compared to it.

If that is the case (at lest it is for me) then there isn't much to do if the capship flies faster then the spacesuit.
If it's your ship make it stop completely before getting out.

Correct, this one in the 2.20 b2 changelog:

* Fixed shield generator obscuring space suit docking bay on Behemoth.
A dog has a master; a cat has domestic staff.

Not fixed in 2.20 release. Is there a trick I’m missing? The shield generator is still there obscuring the dock.

I originally reported this bug.

In ships that existed before the fix, the generator is still in the way.

In new ships built/spawned after the patch, the generator is in the right location, allowing exit while in space suit.

Weird that those fixes aren't retroactive.

Does sending the ship to the shipyard works, or do we need to scrap them?

Could you please upload a savegame where this issue is visible? Then we can take a look why the patchcode did not work in the first pass.

Sorry for the mess, I created this right after taking over Matrix 79B, so almost all of my Behemoths are traipsing down to Atilya's to repeat the performance.

Many of the Behemoths at the top of the Property List (0.Behemoth Vanguard NW / WWS-587, for example, which is homed in Morning Star III) are pre-patch. I cannot exit the airlock in a suit as the generator is still in the wrong place for this one.

In Argon Prime, the Behemoth Vanguard YWT-131 which I captured from SCA just a couple of hours ago does not have the issue.

I was able to send an affected ship to a shipyard and swap it for a Mk1 then back to Mk2 and exit the airlock successfully.

The remaining cases of blocked airlocks should be fixed with the next update (*after* 2.50 Beta 1)
