Each new SY/wharf is an additional queue so yeah - if you have the resources to keep them filled up.

You could just EMP all the needed blueprints. Costs a couple 10k per each that way. To me even feels better then just getting it for cash.

I never liked stations that were too symmetrical, but gotta admit, yours is pretty! :thumb_up:

Thanks! Was hoping this thread could give some inspiration to other people, feels really nice to read this.
This station designer is so awesome imo, hope there will be a lot much better station threads soon.

Can I ask what your system specs are?

I"m pretty sure my GTX 970 would catch fire if I tried to build this. :lol:

Not that good PC but not bad either, i have a 1070gtx. Shouldn't be such an extreme difference imo, maybe 20-30%?

970 has 1/2 the minimum required Video Ram for this game though. :roll:

And even then, I am usually playing in 4k. Yeah, you can imagine the tearing I experience. LOL

It does have 4. 8GB is minimum specs.

And in theory, it should utilize the majority of 8GB if you're playing at a high enough resolution/quality settings to require it, but that would come down to the game and the engine's quality of optimization.

Think 2 or 3 is min. Maybe 8 is the recommended, not sure.

Resolution while playing does not affect vram usage much, texture detail and other settings that have a high impact on vram are not dependent on screen resolution.

Just can't stop with the pics :D

I extended the complex with 36 storage modules as the initial stock filled much quicker then i expected, built a tube below the central silicone sphere.
Then i managed to lure a poor ship into it, and the fireworks were better then i expected.

This gave me an idea of a circular defence system around the gates leading to the sector, without the storages of course - if the designer lets me do it (allows me to remove connection structures outside the bounding box) i will build that as well later.
Curious how pathing will fare, but if it's acceptable then i will do this for all my sectors later on.
Really worth the show, could look so nice if all the entering enemies got this in their faces.. :twisted:

Cracking piece of work. I just spent the best part of week watching this get built and its still not finished. And now you added to it. Urgghh.
Seriously, great work. think we need your revised xml. Think i'm gonna start a new game cause this makes all my other stations obsolete.

Thanks! Not sure those extra storages are needed for everyone, but it also fills quick so i think it makes sense.
Here is the xml plan file, the name is Ergosphere final xCont. Has 36 TEL L storage modules.
If i can pull off the defence structure and it works i will upload that too.

So how badly do your eyes hurt from the build screen colouring in seeing what you are trying to select and target :P ?

Actually ES fixed the bug which caused several minute freezes when finishing a module on a bigger complex.
So all in all it should go quicker even though the build times have been increased by a minute.

Nifty... I like your extension with that tube.
Was thinking to build something like that out of the paranid Y and frame modules, but they are too small and it destroys frame rate. Your storage modules work a lot better though!

Made me start on my wharf.... still a long time to finish it though:

By the way i was thinking about ware relay stations to get the goods to argon prime or other shipyards with this stupid 5 sector limit.
So the idea is that i build relay stations near other shipyards that are within 5 sectors of my production plex and get the wares flow to the shipyards like that.

No clue yet how to set up the last station that sells actually.. because i have to restrict relay stations to only trade with player assets, set buy price to max, sell to min so that my local ATs would favor my deals at all times. Even then i cannot restrict direction of the ware flow which means my ATs might just play pingpong with my wares.
But the last station has to be open as i want NPCs to be able to buy from it, and it also has to buy on max price as well so it gets the wares from my last relay station. Meaning buy on max,sell on normal price - it sounds like a disaster from financial aspect.
If i restrict that last one which should sell also, then my ATs will not sell from it because of the max buy price - any of its buy orders will have higher priority for ATs then the sales.

Think there is no proper solution but queue manual trades every couple mins..
Also i don't really trust ATs that much to spend hours on building this scenario, as they might just go for some other NPC offers as their choice regarding trades is far from optimal as it seems so far.
I'm really sad ES implemented this trade limit :(
