I'm just curious what is the point behind having an artificial limit on paint jobs received through ventures. Say I really like a specific paint job, and it's capped at 1/1 or 3/3, something like that... it's a real pain to try and get enough to cover certain types of ships. I'm OCD, so if I put one Corvette in say the Washout skin, I want to be able to put 10 corvettes in that same skin.
I'd like to be able to put all my auto-trade transports in one type of skin. All my gas auto-miners in one type of skin, and the ore auto-miners in another. All my destroyers have their own skin, and my frigates their own too.
But with these artificial limits, that don't make sense to me, it's just a pain in the butt. Now I have to have 3 frigates in a skin, and the rest in original, until I randomly get more of that skin.... as opposed to just being able to wait until I get 10 of that skin, which I can't because it's capped at 5 for example.
It just seems like a weird limit to have in place for a single player game.

Never did Ventures so far (I am playing very slow and won't risk any ship
) but I would guess it has something to do with keeping players interested in ventures, they have not much to offer, have they? 1-3 Skins per venture sounds low to me, would have expected at least 10-20 skins, or 50 but not after every successfull Mission, though.

They are not capped just a weird way of reporting them....you just get a random amount per venture my personal choice is for black steel which atm I have 14/33 which means 14 available of 33 i have recieved ..but that second figure does go up everytime i get more...
Like Today the 64hr venture came back with a new EXP skin which is Warden ...it shows 2/2 which is 2 available of 2 recieved so far..... not a maximum....
As for ships being destroyed in ventures that was a bug which was fixed in 2.0 and it was totaly random.

But a Wierdness I did comes across was a Mission for Antigone trade guild and the reward listed was for The Vindicator.... so i thought new ship maybe...anyway after lots of bugs and hassle I did eventually mange to complete a mission for that reward.. and the strange part it shows as a general ware value of 1cr but is actually a level II skin....took ages before i found it in inventory..
