1.5 BUG can not upgrade large ships
I can not change my destroyers (no matter which one) loadout after building since 1.5.
Engines and turrets tabs in the upgrade screen are greyed out. I have the capital licence, of course.

Did you look up if there is a equipment upgrade tab in the order list?

I do get to the upgrade screen. I can not change turrets and engines, however.

Yes, but if you go into the order menu of the ship and than look for the order tabs is there a Equipment Change command?

Issue is the same if i upgrade remotely (yes it has the order in that case), docked or not, while piloting the ship or not.

Do the engines/turrets have modules installed? You have to dismantle upgrade modules before you can replace the turret/engine.
Thank God I am atheist.

No, they do not have modifications.
(can not mod turrets or engines of large ships anyway).

I had that problem when I tried to upgrade an L ship's engine group stuff at an equipment dock. Moving to an actual Shipyard fixed the issue for me.

Re: 1.5 BUG can not upgrade large ships
Thanks for the tip, but not being able to upgrade properly at equipement docks is still a bug.
Also, the Alliance Shipyard (not the Wharf) does not even allow any upgrade or repairs.

My issue is similar to the OP. I can't operate the consumables tab when upgrading ships. Everything else works as normal, but if I want to buy satellites or missiles the upgrade menu becomes unresponsive (exiting out of the interface works, but the interface is just unusable). Tried reloading the game, still doesnt work.

I had the same problem. Are you running win7 and a mod that adds or changes satellites? That's what my problem was.Dejakritz wrote: ↑Sat, 29. Dec 18, 02:59 My issue is similar to the OP. Re: 1.5 BUG can not upgrade large ships
I solved my problem. I am not sure which thing fixed it but here are the things I did:
1) I verified the game cache
2) I had one mod that required being placed in a different folder than it was - sector satellites. It needed to be in the core game folder, not the documents folder where other mods work (this had not been an issue before, doubt this fixed it)
3) I deleted the files as described at the top of this older post for a different problem:

Hope this helps
