Broken wharf in antigone memorial ( no buy orders)
the ANT wharf in Antigone Memorial wont build ships, it says it need weapon parts but does not put up buy orders for them . i have built a station to supply them in the same system and it still refuses to buy any. it now has no buy orders for any thing and there is a pulsar stuck not being built. any ideas what might be causing this ?

My game has several wharfs not building anything. Started new game at tutorial 4 days ago.

So if i flew into the dock area i could target the ship from the map and it showed as invisible but with a target box. the station seemed to get stuck for some reason.

Same thing with my save but I found out a lot of shipyards are not being supplied adequately by wares specially the HOP since they are everyone's enemy. I also bought some ships that are stuck in the queue so what I did was manually supply all the necessary wares and I was able to keep the production going. Currently I am running ver 1.5b.

Unfortunatly i have sats on every station and i have tried supplying the weapon components manually . there is no buy order for said weapon components. there are several other wharfs that are short of weapon components so it seems to me like a bug.

problem is REDUCED in 1.5 beta 1. but still exists.

Is this on a new save? My game is saying Antigone wharf needs 7000 hull parts, but they aren't buying any, really want my Drill Sentinels

Not fixed in 1.50b2 as mine just borked up.
Same issue as the shipyard/wharf thread, might aswel just merge it.

I've read from another thread that one of the issues why a wharf/shipyard doesn't accept trades is because the item that it needs are on escrow with other trade ships. Those trade ships might have been bugged already and will never reach the station.

I saw something like this in my own game.. 1.5 beta 2. A wharf needed a couple of hundred hull parts and engine parts, but they were not accepting any trades at that station on those items.. I assumed that was because there was some outstanding orders that were waiting for the ships to arrive... having said that, the station should *NOT* stop buying materials, when there are ships in the queue - this is still an outstanding bug... The station AI is NOT building up any sort of buffer of critical goods needed for the production of ships..

Definitely not fixed in 1.5 beta 1, 2, or 3. Please consider deleting your above comment, or at least editing it, so that people don't scroll down, see you saying it's fixed, and ignore it.
The problem that seems to be happening is this;
NPC stations do not partition storage like Player stations do.
1) NPC station wants to build A
2) NPC station has room in storage, and places a buy order for wares X, Y, and Z.
3) ware X is delivered to NPC station in such a volume, that storage is completely filled.
4) NPC station has no additional room, and so cancels all trade orders to buy goods
5) NPC station cannot build A due to a shortage of wares Y and Z
6) NPC station does nothing, and can only be temporarily fixed by hacking the station to eject its wares (until it breaks again), or by applying mods/extensions that cheat wares into the station.
This would seem to affect any npc station that consumes more than one input ware, and is able to receive those wares through trades.

Is there any way to go into the savegame and edit the wharf or shipyards storage containers to reduce the amount of certain wares? For example the argon wharf in argon prime has like 60k smart chips and 40k missle components... and 500 hull parts, ergo it cannot build anything as its storage is full. The paranid shipyard and a few others also have this problem, they need to equalize the amounts across the board, they buy way too much of certain wares. They are all really low on hull parts and all are near their storage capacity. I went into the save xml and searched on all the large argon storage modules and lowered all the wares that were in the 20k or higher amounts, but when i loaded that game back in the amounts were unchanged, so maybe the amounts are stored somewhere else.

By the way I still get shortages and stoppages without storage being full..
IMO what is happening is that a sell order to the station is made, and no more buy orders are placed. Even though the trader fulfilling the sell order might be across the galaxy ... so it takes a long time for that order to be filled.
The stations seems to sit there waiting, with no more buy orders - even though the production queue is still full.

Same is happening to me. Antigone Wharf needs Smart Chips to build my Pulsar, but will not put up a buy order for it.
