Ship stuck after undocking

The ship thinks it still needs to undock but it doesnt have to, there is a perpetual undock critical order. Trying to tele to ship and manually take control, clicking on cockpit to dismiss captain does nothing. the ship just slowly looks around left to right not moving, and i cant give it any new orders

I was trying to set up a large argon miner to mine ice for my HQ. After realizing the reason its probably not mining is i forgot a mining laser, I sent it to argon shipyard. After installing laser and shield gens, i told it to undock. selecting the ship now, who's location icon was set a few hundred meters away from pier, the ship showed its "ghost" image as being docked with pier, away from its location icon. The ghost image was not light hazy blue but white. As stated above it is perpetually in a critial dock order, that wont clear, and other orders dont get completed. Restart game does not work
No changes in my system or gameplay before issue besides trying to set up miner with station for first time, and having it get a miner added on after forgetting the first time around

leave the sector so collision gets disabled and it will eventually finish undocking

I still encounter this issue, but this workaround worked, thank you
