sorry guys, but adding in a demand for nividium at trading stations has really made it too easy.

there always seems to be demand in the 5 sectors ive unlocked in this game start, and i have 2 med. and 1 sm. miner making me well over $1mil /hr.

Then don't use it if you think its too cheesy. Just let them mine Ore/Silicon/Ice instead. EgoSoft will probably tweak it at some point, either reducing value or reducing demand or something. This was the first pass at it.

yeah thats likely what i will do.

it makes the economy seem a little irrelevant though, and seems like an oversight so ive mentioned it.

It's finite. There is no drawdown for Nvidium atm. You will make something like 20-30mil and then there is nobody buying.

If you don't want to use it, don't. I'd normally not use it, but I've restarted 3x now, from 100+m companies, so the little boost gets me back on my feet quicker. I imagine they will adjust the price, and have it get used up eventually tho.

LOL nividium easy creds? Heck the special crystals you shoot off roids are even more easy creds, two of them sell at around 20k and 30k a pop!

nividium has no use at all sadly. Make your 20 million and move on. Honestly it's just a little starter in a sense. Though I like to see it actually used some day maybe something but more rare and expensive.

Its good for your first round of profits. But it dries up, and when it does it only trickles back in a few per cycle.

In X3 nobody would buy serious quantities of nividium, yet we got filthy rich from it anyway. Try putting it on a captured ship and sell that ship. Could work here as well.

With captured ships could work, gave it a brief look with empty/full Drill Vanguard's I got auto mining, 'if' I sold them, the one with a full load of Nividium Is roughly 125k higher. Not going to make you millions from look of it though.

Do the roids respawn? It looks like the crystals do although im not sure if they regrow on the stump left behind

it will have use once nvidia will produce the first GPU's in space

You can't have to many miners doing that or they just stand there with full inventory and no where to dump it anyway so in the big picture... a good way to earn some sustained revenue at start but later that source of income isn't changing much as it gets saturated quite easily.
