just got my M ship. turrents dont seem to work?

Did you buy it, or did you cap it? Minotaur RAIDERS (not vanguard/sentinel) have bugged turrets. Some people are saying capped pirate Nemesis ships have bugged turrets too.

I bought a cerb and equipped them with laser turrents from the warf. i tested plurse turrents too doesnt work the turrent menu is greyed out i can change turrent mode settings but whatever i tried is still greyed out :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:

i have a full crew 4 service 4 marine 1 pilot

Developers please fix this??? or at least give a walk around on this?

If they're working properly, the icons will stay greyed out until the relevant conditions apply (meaning, until they have something to shoot at based on which blue icon you selected)

Even the circle icon (attack all) won't shoot on neutrals or friendlies, you'll have to either be very close to an enemy, or just enter combat with your main guns.

They also won't turn online until they can actually "see" the target, so sometimes only turrets on one side will light up until you or the enemy moves into the view of your other turrets.

Basically, unless they don't do anything at all despite the relevant blue icon conditions being met, they ain't bugged, they're just on standby.

I tested with xeon, they dont fire even at close range. How do you make out of stnadby?

Sorry if you already know this, but I think you control the behaviour of turrets by clicking the small symbols at the centre-top of the default cockpit screen? I discovered that by accident, wondering what those two new icons that randomly appeared were.

I just got myself a Nemesis too, but I haven't had a chance to take it for a proper spin yet. Maybe tonight I'll hunt some Xenon. Maybe I'll be able to find and scan that stupid elusive Xenon ship.

They're called "turrets," and they're controlled by clicking the icons at the top of the screen while seated in the captain's chair.

thx, and the meaning of each icons? I understand that the shield is to defend the ship from attacks ?? the crosshairs attack my goal? the missiles? the meteorite broken ??

Asteroid = mining mode; Currently no clue what the turrets will do here, fire at neary targetet asteroids?
Crosshair with brackets = attack my enemy target; Attacks the currently selected enemy target.

From what I've seen on my Nemesis, the turrets seem not to fire directionally, if i'm facing forward, they don't seem to fire, but if I'm sideways from my target, they fire, not seen them fire from the rear as i'm running away from taking on too much.
Even though i like u, i may be called upon to kill u one day, know it isnt personal when it happens
