Did someone put an Unfocussed Jump Drive on my ship?

Because somehow, I'm randomly jumping around.

I was flying through the asteroid field near the highway of Second Contact II Flashpoint, when I suddenly got transported to The Void.
Here's the thing: I wasn't boosting, so I wasn't going fast enough to go through a wormhole. However, just to make sure, I scanned for wormholes after arriving in The Void. I found one... way away from where I was dropped in.

You probably flew into an anomalie.
There are sort of wormholes in the game.

I flew through one accidentally too and landed in Matrix #451.


EDIT: Just saw the video. Yeah, that looks like a bug.

Did you somehow hit a hidden anomaly? I did that once, well, I spotted it at the last second while going over 2,500m/s in Travel Mode. It was visible at the last seconds though, perhaps yours just didn't render in in time, I notice your FPS is a bit choppy, unless that's just the recording. I can't explain it any other way.

I had exactly the same thing happen to me. I'm pretty sure I didn't hit anything, but I cannot be sure. It happened in the asteroid belt between BHS's gate and the highway.

Yeah, I noticed that...you certainly should have picked it up with the scan. Most odd. I'd submit a save if possible, cos that's weird.

How would I go about doing that? Also, I added a better video.

If you have a save from before it happens, and you can re-create it from that save, upload it to somewhere like google drive, make a post in the Tech forum & add a link to the save. The devs might then be able to work out what happened and prevent it from occurring again.

Did you watch the videos? I used to have that problem where I would get shot several hundred kilometers backwards every time I opened the map while in travel drive. This instantly sent me to a new sector, as if I hit a wormhole or jumpgate.

And not even a restart helps this one. Any time I load the save, it happens if I follow the path I took in the video.

yes, both happens to me but the warping into an other sector wasnt this smooth for me, it was similar like the map bug, then it drops back and sometimes warps me away again... probably an overflow error in the coding. it gives back wrong coordinates and sometimes you end up in an other scene. i just press f5 f9, it always solves it for me, i can see that it will happen if my map start flashing though i didnt try to go back
