What does this mean? Laser towers? Some specific module? We need someone to start filling out more information in the encyclopedia.

Your station modules have turret mounts, for mounting turrets, just like on ships. I don’t recall exactly where the menu option is, as I don’t have any turret blueprints, but it’s in there somewhere.
