[Request] Babylon 5 Fighter :-)

Hi guys,

what do you think about Babylon 5 Fighter?
Like the Starfury Fighter and its different versions!
Would welcome such a mod that adds such ships, among other things, as a different class of ship, as well as give the feeling of flying as if you could fly such a fighter from the movie series with his maneuvers.

Is this possible?
Would one take care of this?

I second this. You had to go digging for them but the space and atmo versions of the Starfury were mods for X3TC, not overly useful because they exploded if something even looked at you funny but fun none the less, there were even a few Shadow vessels around too including the Battle crab.

You could make this more stable. Almost as interceptor.

Welp I am def bookmarking that, I always wondered if the mod team for that mod ever got around to finishing the total conversion mod.

From what Ive been reading itll be a year or more before anyone expects any ship mods to be trickling out.

OOoooooo you gave me chills, those models are beautiful.....the lack of IAS Destroyer I find disturbing however....now that I been staring a bit, no Mimbari, Vorlon, or Shadows at all. but then they are all quite organic shapes, Id guess much harder to reproduce then Earth Gov. tubular boxes. beggars cant be choosers I suppose Edit: oh nope found the Destroyer, hidden in the back, I mistook it for another Centauri cruiser

If you do install it,you may get a situation where the games becomes unplayable after a short in game time.Follow these instructions after setting it up to make sure it doens't happen:

I had this happen 2 times before I fixed it with this.

Its worth playing though,I only have about 20 hours or so in it but they have done a good job of it.

But i left after some changes in my private life. I just had no time for this...

In fairness I read a while back that the guy who did the original model design took inspiration from pelicans in its creation.

I love the Narn Heavy cruiser. The one flaw was the fighter bays were between the 2 forward heavy beams (would frequently kill the fighters as they exited in combat unless releasing fighters outside beam range, lost 20 out of 30 fighters that way in one encounter)

Currently only TC mod for X4 is Star Wars.

Would be great even to have some ships rather then a full conversion mod.
