1.30 BUG Egosoft, fix this {Integrated} radar bug already! - Resolved, Workaround here.

I even reinstall the game and clear all files from My documents but still cant get integrated radar.
How can I play if radar is layered on the information panel?????
Why I decided to see what a separate radar looks like...truly fatal decision :(

Hi Andrey12y :-)

I'm sorry to learn that you have trouble with the radar setting. There is an issue with changing the radar setting (integrated <--> separate) makes it invisible. This is currently investigated and will be fixed in a future update. As workaround please save the game, exit X4, restart and reload your saved game.

If this is not what you have encountered then please provide some more details. Also please check the config.xml in your document folder. It should contain these lines:

Code: Select all

 <disableradar>0</disableradar>
 <radarquality>1</radarquality>
 <separateRadar>1</separateRadar>
If this does not help to resolved your problem then please let us know :-)

Hello euclid,

I am having the same problem, and tried searching for a 'config.xml' file under steamapps/X4 Foundations and can not find this file. I even searched the entire hard drive (d:) and only found one config.xml, but it is for farcry. :)

Any suggestions? Thanks.

EDIT: Found it. Apparently, even though Steam loads/stores games on my D: drive as directed, it puts some files on the C: drive as well. :)
