I ordered a new ship, it’s being built but won’t finish

I ordered a second ship at the Argon shipyard to be used as a miner. Under the property tab it shows as under construction with 1:57 to go. Only the timer won’t proceed and it has taken several ingame days, or RL hours. Not sure what I need to do. Is it possible to cancel the order?

Did it say before in red that some parts are missing and it might take time? Maybe the ship parts are waiting to be delivered? I always said no to anything when it said that. If it says "All ok!" I would go ahead.

The Timer might simply stop until the part arrives.

Well I was so eager to order a new ship that I just pressed confirm without really reading the fineprint . It may be that the warf is not provisioned sufficiently. Therefor I was hoping I could cancel the order and get a refund

I don`t how to cancel (never had to yet), but there must be a way to. Keep looking!

You could also check which resources the station is very low on, and then deliver them yourself. - I had two huge freighters in X Rebirth dedicated to doing just that.

Or, yeah, it's likely the ship will *eventually* finish building.

Thanks for the advice. I’ll be saving up for another ship to transport the required resources for the previous ship. One day I’ll be looking back at this and laugh about it
