How to have player hired ships/pilots dock?

Looked for it in the forum but... how the heck do you get your hires to dock ships at stations. I have a few ships I managed to cap- er borrow and now I want to equipment and what not but I am not seeing any option to tell the pilot to land the ship. How the heck does this work...

From the map, Select the ship you want to issue an order to, then right click the station you want them to dock at and select Dock at Station.

Ah thank you so much. X-series games aren't new to me but X4 certainly has some new things that take getting used to

I hear ya...FYI if the ship is currently carrying out an auto behavior you may need to click the x button to remove the auto behavior and have them carry out your new order. This is done via the behavior menu.

I think all player owned ships are required now to have pilots which means you need to carry crew with you at all times.
