You will need a habitation module as well as a container storage to store both medical supplies and food(Soja Husk ,Meat or Nostrop Oil). Once you have all that, your workforce will start to build up slowly.
I heard that cargo drones can be an initial cheap labour, though I didn't notice any increase of workforce with 35+ drones.

Anyone know how many workers each size of habitation module can support? They're bloody expensive and I haven't lucked out and been able to steal the blueprints yet, so it'd be nice to plan out which size is most suited for my needs.

You should be able to figure it out by scanning NPC stations, if just to verify. You can see a moule list and the workforce is displayed on the map, so if it has 1 M Habitat and 500 work force, the math is easy
I know for a fact one module has 500 capacity, I think it is the M one. S might be 100, and L might be 2000-ish (the 100and 2000 are probably wrong)

Teladi S Biome holds 250 workforce. I don't have any other at the moment.

Outstanding. Thanks for the info. Shame there is no game manual. Not sure what Egosoft were thinking on this one TBH. All I gotta do now is figure out how to assign a trade ship to my factory now lol.Lymark wrote: ↑Thu, 6. First, give the factory a manager, and give the manager a budget (They should tell you how much you need to give them to run the station in a 'upkeep mission')
Then it's a simple case of selecting a suitable ship you own, rightclicking the station and near the bottom should be 'trade for station' and 'mine for station' and 'defend station' set of options. Assign the ship to whichever it is you need and they should do the rest on their own.

How did you get drones on the quack station? I had to resort to manually fulfil the drone part orders as no one seemed to be interested in doing that. Including idling station haulers :/
