[1.20-1.21] Unable to research Teleportation

So, in the mission Escape Plan, after escorting the ship and going back to the Boron at my station, I am asked to research "any technology". I decide to go for Teleportation, but after starting the research, timer goes to 0:00 and then back to 10:00 minutes, without researching anything.
I can't finish this.
