BUG: Trader wont show window to buy ships

So i go to Argon Prime and find the wharf and the ship yard, get out and find what I think is the ship dealer, and... nothing. No window, no dialog, nothing. click several times and my pointer appears for a second like a window is supposed to pop up but disappears almost immediately. Any ideas

You don't buy ships from traders. Traders are for items you hold in your personal inventory and crafting. If you are docked to the station that sells ships, you can go to your quick menu and press buy ship. If not, you can just right-click a place that sells ships on your map to buy remotely.

Ah! thank you! didnt realize that. But of course when I click the option Buy Ship I get a CTD... Sigh.

I started a new game and everything seems to be working fine now. Game is running perfect on my GTX 760 even though it doesnt meet the mins. I will say that I had to disable SLI in order for it to work now.
