I won't be original, but some "saucisson" slices with a fresh piece of bread and a small glass of red wine will be fine for me.
Maybe a coffee after, because red wine makes me sleep.

I like it. Everyone else is posting their pre-packaged snack and fast food choices, then along comes a Frenchman to put them all to shame.

Stilton, with some multigrain crackers and a bottle of very dry cider.
Followed by mixed nuts and dried fruit.

Just want to be careful not to eat left over turkey it might end up being a very short gaming session. Food is optional before taking over half the universe anyway right?

I'm going to consider this whole thread to be "pics or it didn't happen" territory.

Sadly, Calamari is probably not ideal for the setting, since the Boron are not included in the game. For the previous X3 games, they were well suited for frying, toasting, or slow roasting, either shredded or sliced. I believe they were available vacuum-sealed, although the contents tended not to last long after breaking the seals.

Cookies... Since we cant find them in the universe anyway. XD
Plus, I always try to keep a crate of clementines or at least a few oranges. It helps to stay hydrated.
Problem is, a crate of clementine usually last no longer than a single evening. (I think my record is 3h for a full crate of 20-30 of them... not that I was trying or anything.)
... Then again, the same can be said for cookies, jerky, chips, home-made goodies, or any other kind of "gaming snacks"... Then you have to stop gaming and go outside to spend all that energy.

Humans are deuterostomes, which means that when they develop in the womb the first opening they develop is the anus.
This means that at one point you were nothing but an asshole.
Some people never develop beyond this stage.

Tons of coffee. And maybe a pound of Oreos to go with it.
When I was still working/writing code, there would have also been at least a six-pack of Pepsi in that list as well. But I'm getting older so I'm trying to cut back on the sugar a bit.

Re: Recommended Snacks for the 30th November
I think my two primary snack for 30 Nov will be:
Dissapointment - than my old laptop will not be able to play it on minimum (still considering buying new laptop on Black Friday, if there will be good sales, or later after 30Nov).
Rage - for usual X-Games bugs and issues that are always present for first 0,5-1 year after release.
Still this is the only 2018 game that I seriously wait for and except X-Rebirth (that was more like X4 prototype, than actual game), Egosoft has solid record of delivering what I like (even X-Rebirth was enjoyable after patch 3.0+).
