Emergency Transporter System or E.T.S

Ok I been trying to find documents on the scripting functions and what they do but cant find any. Also been trying to figure them out for my self by just playing with the SE. So here I am back going to ask for help form someone one more time. Here is my plan of action. If someone can help me out here I can really use it. Also if this is impossible task please politely tell me so. :P

1) Make Ware E.T.S. place in game for sale
2) Make Script for 'check hull percent.'
3) Make Script for 'find closest ship within 5km owned by player.'
4) Make Script for 'Call function on ues of Transporter Device.'
5)Make Script for player ' Set Varable' number for 'function call on check hull percent '

Functionality of Script Flow chart

01 check if ETS ware installed
02 check if TD ware installed
03 if Both true return to line 05
04 if Both NOT true return to line 01
05 check hull percent
06 if hull percent equals or less than var# set by player return to line 08
07 if hull percent does NOT equal var# set by player return to line 05
08 find nearest player owned ship within 5km
09 if NO ship found return to line 05
10 if ship is found return to line 11
11 call function on use TD/player transports to nearest found player owned ship
12 End - Return to line 01

It certainly looks possible (tho i'm no scripter). Useful too, it could make wingmen slightly useful. Maybe to make it more valuable, the target ship should have to have a TD and the ETS too?

Can anyone here do this?

i like the idea :) :thumb_up: , but this last point is unfortunatly not possible till now :( :(

No I wouldn't require both to have one just the one your in (the player). Because it is just moveing you out one way. Now you could have one on every wing man though for when you die in them too. But, as you said, it would be slightly useful in that you wouldnt want to lose to many ships befor you decide that it was time to reload a save.

Well darn, was hopeing that when I played that bonus mission and you were being moved form one ship to another when you picked wich one you wanted to fly was a function of a scritp where you could make the ware or at least simulate the function of the TD for use by a script.

what about escape pod as ware ?

hi there all, like the idea. i had to bail the other night and was 3000m from the nearest station,when my rescue disco got blasted by bayos -mon 4sezuras off my entering. it was about this time i thought about an escape pod. maybe these would be purchased as an ware,with an hefty price tag of 100,000cr or more its your life, given!,maybe its left over when your ship goes the golden be-be. its only functions, basic comms, with str-thng abilities.funny enough it resembles a gutted mk2 comms sat. wrappped in an synthetic kwark hull panelling developed by the boron scientest Miton," he did have an bit of spare time on his suckers waiting for the rest of what looked like an teladis carcass to rott off it , :D . gee and as an floating ware you could have an scout sent to pick you up.

isnt an space suit/astronaught an ware or is that hard coded for player.
its easy to add cargo space too and tunnings to most of games objects etc; calling on the all knowing ones out there just an thought.
