Ive seen suggested that the forum update would be tied into the announcement and trailer.

Since its being shown later this week, and the forums go down tomarrow for 4 days of maint and upgradeing, the timeframe of later this week seems to line up with the forum maint completion.

It'd be strange if they bring out the trailer and people who may not know the series yet come to the forums just to find them in downtime.

I think I should just point out that you must have misread or misunderstood the announcement. It is going down twice, for a few hours each time, four days apart, rather once for four days. One of those downtimes has already happened and was shorter than expected.

First off, good to hear that things are progressing faster than expected (at the moment ^^) Godspeed with the rest.

That said, it would make sense for the trailer to drop as soon as there's a nice, shiny new forum for all potential youtube hits to land on. ^^
