Correct me if I'm wrong but they don't sell parts unless they are in the Clearance Items section.....Pointer88 wrote:www.carrerassc.co.uk for cheap cheap computers, if they make custom computers that the user specifies on the site..then i guess they will sell parts for cheap![]()

Sadly I've pretty much given up Falcon so I can't justify the Cougar...
Falcon is, unfortunately, far too time-consuming to get back into. Which is a real shame because it's still the best there is!
SP4 would have to be something really special to tempt me back [ external image ]
Maybe I'll give LOMAC a shot? What d'ya think?

never give up!
I've had a very enjoyable falcon experience winning campaigns and downing migs and playing with different theaters, and I dont even know how to use the AG weapons yet!
As for the Cougar, it works great with I-war2, Mechwarrior, and anything else simulator oriented. I haven't used it with X, but I played X on my older TM F22/F16TQS. never give up!
As far as Lomac goes (Lock On: Modern Air Combat for our dear readers
) looks pretty good, still months away. lots of variety in the aircraft. stunning graphics. there seems to be a debate over how high fidelity it will be. frankly I have no idea how it will stack up to falcon in terms of depth or ease of use. and frankly I dont care. I'm willing to wait and see how the finished product turns out without being dragged into the flame wars over it vs f4.
In the meantime Il-2:FB comes out next month I believe....

Hehe
Decided I'm gonna wait 'till summer anyway now and for the prices to drop a bit.
Besides, would I see much difference from my current card (GF3Ti200)? Or is it just a good idea for those ppl upgrading from a
Voodoo/GF2 etc?
But I've now spotted this (NVidia/Leadtek's top card): http://81.3.74.163/tekheads/product?id=601358
