regarding shipyards.

common Rebel ships sold in all Argon and some Boron shipyards, Most Correllian ships in Otas Shipyards

Imperial ships in ATF shipyards, most in Bastion system and in the starting Imperial system.

Other ships in Pirate/Teladi shipyards, for really old ships and some republic ships "Teladi Classics" Shipyard in "PTNI headquarters."


I tried it four times, each time with a different ship, my game didn't crash.

nvm, got it figured it out :P

btw is it normal not to start with a tie fighter when playing as imperial conscript?

Can you try it with the imperial vigil class corvette? If it still doesn't crash then it has to be my graphic options.

you start with a tie fighter lol copy your files correctly you have to place them all individually. (not the soundtrack and such)

Hi. Just made a save game and bought a vigil class and tried it, my game still didn't crash.

doesnt crash for me, must be you, docked there with every single imperial ship available.

Is there an easy way to check what weapons bays are working correctly? Seem like some ships have issues with that.

The ships are currently known with gun bay issues are:

Imperial Gozanti Cruiser
Imperial light Cruiser
*YT-1300

I can't afford ships as the destryoer XL currently, but the fact that the light cruiser doesn't work well destroys my game experience since I heavily lack firepower. (Vigil is to weak and capital ships like victory dont have enough energy or just to slow)
That's why I asked if there are a way to fast check that.

*Yt-1300 = I was flying it early game when I managed to capture one in my imperial campaign but didn't used it anymore since bottom bays were not working? Cant remember well, but energy output was to low either way ^.^

Once I have enough money I could go threw every single ship and test them
I'm from Germany and speak english! ^.^

Hey Cekura,

Just wait a few more days, major update coming, just keep listing the ships you know have problems and exactly what they are, like lack of power, shields or speed.
I haven't gotten around to doing balancing, trying to do it as i go.

If ship balance is critical for you right now, download "X3 editor 2" open up the mods 0.9 cat and navigate to addon/types/TShips, you can edit speed/hull/shields and power there.

Just a big check to see if it's a big or compatability issue but starting a new game my ship has no weapons sounds I am using the LU version.

By the way Good work on this Mod I have been keeping an eye on it for a while.

Currently there is no LU compatibility (but its planned!!! HYPE!!).
There is a ship pack, tho.

So I did a fresh Install of AP installed LU's and just the Star Wars fighter/Freighter pack and still no weapon sounds or engine sounds I tried changing ships and still have an issue...I uninstall the ship pack and my sound returns.

I confirm this same problem. It seems that your files contain also weapons information not only ships. Can you please leave only ships so that we can play LU with your great mod? (cant see me playing vanilla anyway after LU)

We must wait what mik and Klaus sais then. Sorry for my newbie helpout, but it should work :?

Besides that, the tractor beam is not working for me (atleast not in a mercury) maybe its my handling? Please assist me ^.^
I have enough energy with me and enough space between me and the station, but for some reason the beam wont appear when I shoot.

Also one of my commercial agents is not working properly anymore.

I checked all options but he still sais "CA in attendance". (playing the game on german so I dont know 100% right line)
This happened after I accidently made a station (I dont know how) unfriendly to me in the same sector, the base is close to it.
Besides that noone buys wares from the station anymore, even when the price is the lowest.
Is that a general issue or something mod related?
I tried to move the station with the tractor beam but the beam doesnt work.

First I thought must be something with the station options or ship options but I double checken, replaced the ship and the pilot but nothing works.

Any suggestions?
