0.88 forgotin file

Forgot to include this in the 0.88 update, just drop it into "X3 TC" folder not the "addon" folder, you'll be asked to replace the "mov" folder, say YES, and back up your original 0001.dat

First task right now, something i didnt like about LTs mod was the star background, so im replacing it with my HD one, but its difficult since he has a unique background for every system but uses the same image which is split into almost 400 files, such a waste of space.
Tomorrow ill add the first batch of ships.

While playing it today i notices a few things, no weapon sounds and no com avatars, and no story start :(

Sorry to say this.
I have been to LU universe and "i am finished". i didn't like the game with no plot.
It is up to you Mik and the others to go with LU.
I will continue playing with this mod but no LU.


Another thing is:
This update is compatible with savedgames 0.85 and up, HOWEVER "Teladi Classics" shipyard which was added to "PTNI headquarters" will only be there if you start a new game.
Mandelorian sector shipyard also updated and now has a full list of their unique ships.

Someone requested for old Republic ships to be available so here they are, Custom build by the Teladi with modern tech at "Teladi Classics"

Ships included:
Harrower-class Dreadnought
Valor-class Cruiser
Hammerhead-class Cruiser
Forray Corvette
"Ebon Hawk" Dynamic-class freighter and others.
In my game - new start - in PTNI there isn't such "Teladi Classics".

I think we should finish out this mod first before we start thinking about any drastic overhauls. Leave that until we have a stable base and maybe some people to help out.

I always thought this should be more a total conversion, replacing all the vanilla ships with their Star Wars counterparts. Add in perhaps a custom and completely new universe with different sectors and bam you have an almost new game.

I started trying to design a custom universe but it's tough because of the weird file system. I can't seem to find where the custom galaxies are saved, but, piece by piece

My friendly advice is dont mess up with LU. I have nothing against LU mod.
We are here for Star Wars and only.

Do as SlicerShanks Says.
First priority (goal) is to focus in this mod and if possible to a total conversion.
If you decide to go to LU then why you don't you go to Extended Mod ?
It is just a rhetorical question. Not needed to be answered.

for Teladi-Classics station to be there, yes, but it should be compatible with saves from 0.85 up if you dont need the new station.

I think I would preffer that this mod get finished before porting to LU (which I will not play).

I agree with this sentiment. Turning AP into SW is a tall order on its own, let alone turning AP turned LU into SW.

Been testing out latest patch. Love the new icons, but, are they supposed to be moving at all, or are they just still frames at the moment? If any help is needed, and if it even applies at all, I know how to make gifs, and I can rip them pretty easily and quickly, I mean, I've got the despecialized edition on my computer right here.

Ok then Ill go full steam ahead with current Mod, we can always use Litcubes scripts to improve some aspects of it.
For those who are begging for this to be compatible with LC ill make a mini mod soon, that adds two statios selling either Imp ships or Alliance, but there will only be 10-12 ships

Ye just stills for now, i was testing my video editing software, it would be great if you could help, im working on it today, will be replacing some stills with video, if in any way you could make a giff with a rebel officer that would be great, i cant seems to find any decent video, only stills around.

Could somebody let me know how to install the mod? I would love to support the project but I just don't have a clue which links I need or waht. I mean, i have just bought the game, but the only real reason i got it was to get this. Could I have some help please? Thanks in advance!

Hi TKLR479,

In my mod folder/zip there is a Folder called "X3 Terran Conflict" in that folder are 4 folders called "Addon","s","mov" and "Soundtrack" select/highlight those folders, right click - copy, then open up your steam folder and navigate to "Steamapps/Common/X3 Terran Conflict" - PASTE, you'll be prompted to overwrite the given name folders, click "YES"

Now start game and enjoy.

Attention!! You must have Albion Prelude installed and updated to 3.1.
