part of my kyoto vanished - resolved

i jumped my kyoto from saturn to mars now my ship is missing except from the engine and docking bay area, been searching the forums but cant seem to find anyone else with same problem

Change sectors and the ship model should redraw properly. It could just be a one-off timing glitch when you loaded the zone, models and textures on entry.

yeah i've jumped it back, restarted the game no luck ill post a screenshot

It could be a lack of spare memory to load the textures too. Is your in-game RAM usage up to the max usage of about 3.5 GB?

A bit like this issue.

I have to ask, any mods operating?

Wouldn't think its a memory problem as this seems to be a new issue all has been working fine until recently, no no mods.

No I didn't mean a fault with the RAM, I meant that the game was perhaps using up all the chunk of memory addresses available to it as a 32 bit exe. It does happen even on the best of systems, but it also usually corrects itself after a complete game shut down and restart.

ok changing sectors with a different ship did the trick. thanks for the quick replies
