Dear Egosoft.

I find it annoying that I have to wait for the speech to end before the UI starts to react again.

Is this intentional?

Yup, many of us find that annoying. :(

Agreed - my number 1 rule on games.. don't restrict player movement or interaction!
they have had almost 1000 years to terraform Aldrin, why are they all still sitting around a giant rock?

+1 for this! it one of the things that make me put down the game for a few days out of annoyance.

Still would like to see this happen sometime. The more I play, the more I'm bothered by this.
Is there a reason why movement is locked every time I say goodbye to an NPC? Think about it. In real life you often say goodbye as you walk away.

The 3.60 beta that just came out today seems to alleviate this issue.

My mistake. I noticed that certain order confirmations don't interfere with player control. But whether or not you're locked out of ship/UI controls depends on the command being issued, not the game version.

Speaking about voice messages, it would be fine if I would receive all messages from my L-ships beeing attacked which is not always the case. I then don't know and have no possibility to help them which is difficult anyway.
Or maybe is this related to the crew skill?

If more messages are to be issued, then they are not queued apparently and the player may not receive important messages.

Yep i'm with you on this i'd like to be able to stop or have them in the background while i'm getting on with other things.

I'm sure when egosoft staff play they feel the same.

if not stated otherwise everything i post is licensed under WTFPL

Ich mache keine S&M-Auftragsarbeiten, aber wenn es fragen gibt wie man etwas umsetzen kann helfe ich gerne weiter ;)

I wont do Script&Mod Request work, but if there are questions how to do something i will GLaDly help ;)

Doesn't seem to work with 3.60 B1.
